After over 95 years of majority ownership by the Roy C. Whayne family, Whayne Supply Company has been merged with and is now under the control of Boyd Company, LLC, a new company wholly owned by Monty L. Boyd, Whayne Chairman, President and CEO.  The company's name will remain the same.

This is an important milestone for Whayne Supply, representing a transition that has been in the planning for some time.  It is important to note that this event has not been driven by the recent economic downturn -- on the contrary, Whayne Supply is and continues to be a profitable, thriving corporation with exactly the same employees and suppliers serving our customers.

While dramatic in nature, this change will not affect our dealings with our customers.  Today, Whayne is positioned to serve you and your needs better than ever, with 15 facilities in 12 cities across Kentucky and southern Indiana.  We are committed to the Caterpillar brand and their outstanding high quality products, and all the other manufacturers we represent.  We will continue to work daily to back every product we sell with the industry's best parts and service support.

In short, our commitment continues - stronger than ever.  We are privileged to have outstanding, loyal customers, and we want to take this opportunity to thank you for  your partnership and continued confidence in allowing us to serve your equipment needs.
