Whayne signed a contract to represent the Holt Manufacturing Company in 1920. Five years later, Holt merged with the Best Company to form Caterpillar Tractor Company, and Whayne began its long-term association with this leading manufacturer of earthmoving equipment.

Today, Whayne Supply employs more than 1,000 people, represents a variety of major equipment lines and maintains extensive parts inventory and service capabilities, while still playing a major role as good corporate citizens in all of the communities it serves.
