With region's largest parts inventory and our "Night Owl" parts shuttle fleet, 96% of needed parts are either on-hand or available by 7:00 am the next workday... and 99% are available by within 48 hours. An out-of-stock part is sourced from other Whayne locations or the Caterpillar emergency parts system.
Parts Staff
Over 220 specially trained employees work in the Whayne parts departments. These individuals work closely with a separate staff of inventory control specialists to ensure inventories are maintained at optimum levels.
Computerized Parts System
All Whayne parts inventories are linked by computer, providing fast, accurate parts ordering. Whayne is also connected to the Caterpillar parts system which provides immediate parts availability information from the nationwide Caterpillar parts facilities and other Cat dealers. Parts can be ordered on line 24/7 using the PartStore.
